He was one of the greatest sought-after Sufi saints of that period. Hazrat Khwaja Qutbuddin Bakhtiyar Kaki (R.A) died in 1111 AD, or 569 Hijri, and was born in Aush Iraq. He was one of the promising Chishti disciples of Hazrat Khawaja Moinuddin Chishty and was instrumental in propagating the Chishti Silsila throughout India with a special focus at Mehrauli, Delhi, and Ajmer Sharif Dargah India.
